Abilene Seventh-day Adventist Church

Details

The Abilene Seventh-day Adventist Church has a rich history that dates back to the early 1900s when Elder T. W. Fields held the first “Tent Meeting” in the area. The West Texas Conference moved its headquarters from Hamby Texas to Abilene in 1912 and an official church group formed that same year with 38 members. Of those members, 28 of them were new. The Abilene church has continued to grow, and it is blessed to have its own Junior Academy that serves grades K-6. The church is active in ministry and in serving its community.
