The Albuquerque Central Church was pleased to welcome Pastor John Abbott as their new pastor in July of 2020. Pastor Abbott came to Albuquerque after pastoring in Celebration, Florida. He is an ordained minister with vast experience having also pastored in Lincoln, NE, Honolulu, HI, Niles, MI and Boulder, CO. Pastor Abbott believes God does not call us to merely be involved in 'religion', but rather to participate with Him in a life-changing relationship. His ministry passion is to invite people to join the journey of learning how to experience this relationship with our God, Who is perfectly trustworthy and unconditionally loving.

Pastor Abbott is grateful for his wife Maria who is very supportive and involved in his ministry and the mission of the church. They have two children, a daughter Hannah and a son, Noah. The Abbotts love serving the Central Church family, they are also glad to be living in Albuquerque.
