The Albuquerque Heights Seventh-day Church held its first organizational meeting in 1964. Since then, the Heights church has become one of Texico’s largest churches in the Albuquerque area and it has hosted many important Texico events and festivals. The Heights church is warm and friendly congregation that enjoys welcoming visitors who are looking for a Spirit filled, and Spirit led worship experience.

Pinzon began his service in ministry in the Texico Conference as a student pastor, during his theology undergraduate program in 2011. Since graduating from Southwestern Adventist University, he has worked as a pastor in the Gallup, Grants, Pie Town and Reserve district from 2013 to 2017. During the period of 2014-2017 he served the as the Prayer Ministries Director of the Texico Conference. Most recently, Pastor Pinzon completed his Master of Divinity degree at Andrews University, and he now leads the Albuquerque Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church and Los Ranchos Seventh-day Adventist Company. His beautiful wife Yesica and his precious children Niah and Noah, have been a fundamental part of his ministry. The Pinzon family is originally from Colombia and they enjoy the warm people and weather of New Mexico, as well as the continuous support of the Texico Conference family.
