Pastor

Rodel Liwanag

Rodel Liwanag is forever grateful to God for leading him into ministry and allowing him to migrate to the U.S. from the Philippines. Pastor Liwanag and his family came to serve in the Texico Conference in 1993 and were excited to start a new journey in the Southwest. Unfortunately, on November 11, 1998, Pastor Liwanag’s wife, two children and a niece were involved in a tragic accident and were killed by a drunk driver. Several years later, Pastor Liwanag married his wife Prospil, an Internist/Cardiologist from the Philippines and the Lord blessed them with a son who is the pride and joy of his life. Pastor Liwanag is currently serving as the senior pastor of the El Paso Central and the El Paso Northeast Seventh-day Adventist Churches. He is also the Men’s Ministries Director of the Texico Conference. Pastor Liwanag’s goal is to prepare his family, and the flock the Lord has entrusted to his care, to meet our Savior Jesus Christ in His soon return.
