Saragosa Seventh-day Adventist Church

In 2000, the unincorporated community of Saragosa in Reeves County, TX, had an estimated population of 185. Although the town is small, the Saragosa Seventh-day Adventist Church has been present in the community since 1973. This year, the Saragosa church kicked off the NEW START ministry. The NEW START name stands for Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sun, Temperance, Air, Rest and Trust in God which are the topics they focus on every month. Although the original purpose of the ministry was to serve the community and further promote the Adventist health message, it has also been a great blessing to the Saragosa church members. They are committed to being disciples of Jesus Christ, following in His footsteps, and preparing themselves for His soon return.
