The small town of Taos, NM is known for its many galleries and museums showcasing regional artwork. It is also home to the Taos Bilingual Seventh-day Adventist Church which is a diverse and friendly congregation that seeks to transform its community with the message of Jesus Christ.

Pinzon began his service in ministry in the Texico Conference as a student pastor, during his theology undergraduate program in 2011. Since graduating from Southwestern Adventist University, he has worked as a pastor in the Gallup, Grants, Pie Town and Reserve district from 2013 to 2017. During the period of 2014-2017 he served the as the Prayer Ministries Director of the Texico Conference. Most recently, Pastor Pinzon completed his Master of Divinity degree at Andrews University, and he now leads the Española, Taos, Dixon, Cañon Plaza and Tres Piedras district. His beautiful wife Yesica and his precious children Niah and Noah, have been a fundamental part of his ministry. The Pinzon family is originally from Colombia and they enjoy the warm people and weather of New Mexico, as well as the continuous support of the Texico Conference family.
