The Alamogordo Seventh-day Adventist Church is located on more than 20 acres of property with a beautiful view across the valley to White Sands and the San Andres Mountains. The Alamogordo church was established in 1905 with twelve adult members. During the summer of 1909, the first annual camp meeting was held and gave way to the work of Adventist mission in the area. Today, the Alamogordo church is still thriving and recently built a new school that provides a Christ-centered, Bible based, Seventh-day Adventist educational opportunity to the community and serves the needs of their congregation. A lot of enthusiastic work was put into the school project, but it is just a reflection of Alamogordo’s spirit and commitment to share the gospel.
