El Paso Central English Seventh-day Adventist Church

The El Paso Central Seventh-day Adventist Church is a large active church with 701 members. It is best known in the El Paso running community for organizing the McKelligon Canyon Challenge 5K run/walk. Every year, more than 600 men, women and children of all ages participate in this event. Although the race is primarily meant to create health awareness, it also serves as a great outreach initiative. The El Paso Central church has many flourishing ministries and is actively involved with the El Paso Junior Academy, which is the local Adventist multi-grade school. Members of El Paso Central enjoy gathering to worship and learn more about Jesus. They love to pray for each other and are happy to welcome anyone who walks through their doors.
