Presidential

The president provides overall leadership for the mission of the Texico Conference especially as it relates to the success of conference ministry goals and objectives. In consultation with the fellow executive officers, the president leads out in establishing ministry plans and evaluating the results of those plans for the expansion of the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church within the conference territory.

Working with the pastors, churches and members, the president supports and facilitates the church growth activities across the conference. In this function there is also concern for the well-being of new members as they begin their spiritual journey and their assimilation into the respective church families.

In addition, the president possesses various constitutional responsibility which includes being the chair of the Conference Executive Committee as well as serving on multiple boards, committees and advisory groups within the Texico Conference, the Southwestern Union Conference, Southwestern Adventist University, AdventHealth and the North American Division.
