DSCMelissa Hernandez: Hello! My name is Melissa Hernandez, and I am from Rio Rancho, NM. One of my favorite pastimes is hanging out with my friends and having worship sessions as we praise God. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”I can’t wait to be able to spend time with everyone as we grow our relationship with Christ more through the fun activities, devotionals, and camp songs.

DSCNoah Martinez: Hello, my name is Noah Martinez. I live in Corrales, New Mexico, and I enjoy working on old vehicles for fun. I recently graduated from high school and will be attending the University of New Mexico this fall to study civil engineering. My favorite Bible verse is Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” This verse is special to me because it was the first one I memorized. This summer, I’m looking forward to having fun while learning more about Jesus!

DSCNaomi Ann Martinez: Hi! My name is Naomi Ann Martinez, and I am from Corrales, New Mexico. (Yes, Noah is my brother). I’m currently studying Theology at Southern Adventist University. I have a heart for serving others and love being part of ministry, especially in fun, energetic places like summer camp! In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and soccer, and singing praise songs. One of my favorite Bible verses is Psalm 150:6: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” It reminds me that as long as I’m breathing, I have a purpose and a reason to serve and worship God. I’m so excited to be part of camp this summer and can’t wait to see what God has planned!

DSCLara Ferrer: Hey, I’m Lara! This is my second year working as a staff member for Texico On The Go, and I absolutely love it! I’m half Mexican, half Canadian, and grew up in Canada, but now I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have three cats, two dogs, and two siblings. I play tennis and I’m on the dance team at my school. What I love most about my job is being able to connect with new people, make new friends, and experience new places. Last year I had so much fun and I can’t wait to see what 2025 has for our team! My favorite bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:1-3: “If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” I like this bible verse a lot because it emphasizes the importance of the love we must have for one another.

DSCMoses Rangel: Hello, my name is Moses Rangel. I am a recent high school graduate from the class of 2025, and I come from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I enjoy playing basketball and going out to eat with my friends for fun. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” This verse is a constant reminder that I can achieve anything with the Lord by my side. I am looking forward to having a spiritual impact on someone’s life this summer.

DSCKyleigh Walker: Hi! My name is Kyleigh Walker, and I’m from Panhandle, Texas. In my free time, I love playing soccer, drawing, and spending time with my sweet puppy, Lula. I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer for the past two years, and I’m so excited to be part of the team again this year! I’m looking forward to growing in my faith and helping campers take steps in their own journey with God. One of my favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us this summer!

DSCEarl Velasquez: Hi, my name is Earl Velasquez. I’m from Algodones, New Mexico, and I’m currently studying Business at Southern Adventist University. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports like basketball, soccer, and golf. I also love spending time out at my ranch, especially hanging out with my horse. It’s always hard for me to pick just one favorite Bible verse, but one of my favorite chapters is Romans 8. This chapter means a lot to me because it reminds me that God is always with us, no matter what we’re going through. It gives me peace knowing that even in tough times, He will work everything out for good.

DSCAlessandra Hernandez: Hey! My name is Alessandra Hernandez. I’m from Rio Rancho, NM, and this is my first year working with Camp Texico on the Go! I volunteered last year and I really enjoyed it, and I’m excited to join the team this year. In my free time, I like to paint, play the piano, or go play sports with some of my friends. Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 121:1-2 – “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” A reminder to always look to God for help, no matter how big or small the challenge.
