Camp Counselors
Andrés Gonzalez: Hello, my name is Andrés Gonzalez. I live in El Paso, Texas. Something I enjoy doing is playing sports and going to the gym. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:18, which says, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. ” I like it because it shows us that no matter what we are going through, God has something better planned for us.
Ricardo Colindres: My name is Ricardo Colindres. I come from Wisconsin, and I’m a Theology student. I like music, sports, and hiking. Something I look forward to this summer is learning and sharing what I learn with the young people and children of our community. My passion is sharing the love of Jesus with anyone I have contact with and serving in any way possible. My favorite Bible verse is found in 1 Samuel 7:12: “Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, ‘Thus far the Lord has helped us.’”
Melissa Hernandez: My name is Melissa Hernandez. I am from Rio Rancho, NM. This is my first year working at Texico on the Go! I am super excited to work with the kids and am ready for the games and worship. Most of the time, I’m either singing and worshiping with my sister and friends or playing sports and hanging out with our church youth. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39: “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Noah Martinez: Hello, my name is Noah Martinez. I live in Corrales, New Mexico, and I enjoy working on old trucks for fun. My favorite Bible verse is Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ” This verse is special to me because it was the first one I memorized. This summer, I’m looking forward to having fun while learning more about Jesus!
Naomi Ann Martinez: Hello! My name is Naomi Ann Martinez, and I am from Corrales, NM. My favorite thing to do for fun is sing with my friends and lead Praise and Worship. I can’t wait to spend time with you and, most importantly, grow our relationships with God together. My favorite Bible verse is Psalms 150:6: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” I am so excited for Camp Texico on the Go!
Lara Ferrer: Hi, my name is Lara Ferrer, and I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico! In my free time, I like playing tennis and painting. I have two siblings who I enjoy spending time with, as well as my German shepherd puppy, Willow. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:3-4: “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” I think it is important to treat everyone with kindness. This is my first time working at a summer camp, and I’m super excited to meet new people, create fun memories, and share God’s love with others!
Moses Rangel: Hello, my name is Moses Rangel. I am from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I enjoy playing basketball with my friends for fun. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” This verse is a constant reminder that I can achieve anything with the Lord by my side. I am looking forward to teaching the younger ones about Jesus this summer.
