FESJA Texico Celebrates 20 Years of Ministry

From March 6–8, the FESJA Texico family gathered at Bonita Park to celebrate something truly special—20 years of ministry, memories, and lives changed.
For two decades, FESJA (Federación de Sociedades Juveniles Adventistas) Texico has been more than a youth retreat. It has been a place where Hispanic teens and young adults from across the conference come together to grow spiritually, build friendships, and strengthen their identity in Christ. Through worship, fellowship, and shared experiences, countless young people have been impacted over the years.
Under the anniversary theme “El Amor que Conquistó,” the community paused with gratitude to reflect on the journey. The celebration recognized the leaders and pioneers who first envisioned and established this ministry—many of whom were present as special guests. Their faith and dedication laid the foundation for a movement that continues to bless generations.
Today, new leaders carry that vision forward, faithfully passing the baton to the next generation and ensuring that FESJA remains a place where young people encounter God and discover their calling.
Looking back at moments like a throwback from FESJA 2016, attendees celebrated the friendships, memories, and the countless ways God has worked among Texico’s youth. At the same time, the weekend pointed forward with hope and anticipation for the generations still to come.
As the event concluded, participants left Bonita Park encouraged and grateful—reminded that God continues to guide this ministry and inspire young leaders.
Happy 20 years, FESJA Texico!
With gratitude for the past and hope for the future.
