Prayers and Support for Those Impacted by Ruidoso and Texas Flooding

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
This week, severe flooding impacted the area around Ruidoso, NM, causing significant damage, prompting evacuations, and leaving families and communities reeling from the destruction. Heavy rains have swollen rivers and washed out roads, creating dangerous conditions and displacing many residents.
Additionally, parts of Texas have also been devastated by widespread flooding. Communities there have faced rising waters, damaged homes, overwhelmed infrastructure, and, tragically, lives have been lost.
We extend our heartfelt support to everyone impacted by these floods, both within our Texico Conference territory and beyond. We invite all members to unite in prayer for those affected, and for the grieving families, first responders, volunteers, and community leaders working tirelessly during this challenging time.
