Pastor Jonathan Gonzalez, serves as a Senior Pastor in Southwest New Mexico and Northwest Texas, covering the region of Roswell to Saragosa, and Carlsbad to Hobbs. At present, he is the pastor of four churches and one group in Artesia, NM. He has served in that capacity since April of 2016. His ministry motto is, equipping the saints for the work of ministry, as such, he focuses on discipleship and small groups. He also enjoys Apologetics and shares videos on his YouTube page Unlocking the Code/Descifrando el Codigo. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University and a BA in Psychology from Antillean Adventist University, the school where he met his wife Odil E. Gonzalez. Together they are parents to a son, Nathan Andres Gonzalez. Pastor Gonzalez is also a Chaplain in the US Army Reserves having graduated from Chaplains’ Basic Leadership Training in December 2019.
