Andres Canizalez Marroquin

Pastor Andres Canizalez hails from San Salvador, El Salvador but grew up in Houston, Texas. He completed his Bachelor of Theology degree from Southwestern Adventist University in 2023. While at Southwestern, Pastor Canizalez assumed key roles as the Chaplain for Spiritual Life and Development and as the Small Group Coordinator. Additionally, he had the privilege of serving as the Senior Class Pastor during his time there. Pastor Canizalez expresses his joy in responding to the call to join the Texico Conference, firmly believing that God orchestrated this decision. Currently, he is serving the district of Clovis, Hereford, Plainview, and Portales Seventh-Day Adventist Churches. What Pastor Canizalez loves most about ministry is being able to talk to others about God and His immense love for them. He also takes great pleasure in extending invitations to individuals to accept Jesus Christ into their lives. He has a passion for working with the youth of the church and involving them in Adventurers and Pathfinder ministries. On his free time, Pastor Canizalez enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. He also enjoys playing soccer and volleyball.
