Eliel Rosabal
Pastor Eliel Rosabal Pena was born in the vibrant country of Cuba. As the youngest of three siblings, he grew up embracing the rich tapestry of his family’s fourth-generation Seventh-day Adventist heritage. From his earliest days, the Bible was the cornerstone of his education and character development, guiding him on a path of purpose and service.
Pastor Rosabal’s journey in academia led him to earn an accounting associate degree in Cuba, setting a solid foundation for his future pursuits. Fueled by a thirst for knowledge, he embarked on a new adventure at Southwestern Adventist University. There, he immersed himself in learning, earning two bachelor’s degrees – one in psychology and another in Theology. This diverse educational background became the fertile ground where his passion for understanding the human mind and nurturing spiritual growth took root.
After graduation, he served as a chaplain for two enriching years at Texas Health Huguley Hospital and Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Guiding patients and their families through times of emotional and spiritual need, he found profound fulfillment in being a source of comfort and support.
Pastor Rosabal shares that his personal life blossomed alongside his professional journey. He is blessed to share his life with Leydis M. Alvarez, his cherished partner. Together, they embrace the joys and challenges that life brings, navigating its twists and turns hand in hand.
In his current role as a pastor at the Abilene Seventh-Day Adventist Church and Advent Hope Bilingual in San Angleo, TX, he is humbled and honored to be a shepherd of souls. Guided by God and unwavering faith and a heart brimming with compassion, Pastor Rosabal is dedicated to leading and nurturing the spiritual growth of his congregants. Through the grace of God, he strives to create a sanctuary where souls can find solace, hope, and a deeper connection with their Creator.
Throughout his journey, he attributes his achievements and triumphs to the grace and guidance of God. He remains his constant source of inspiration and strength, shaping him into the person he is today.
