Texico Conference Welcomes New Associate Superintendent of Education

We are thrilled to introduce Rosy Arizaga as the newest member of our team, stepping into the role of Associate Superintendent of Education for the Texico Conference. With over 25 years of combined experience in both public and Adventist education, Rosy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our educational community.

In her extensive career, Rosy has spent 13 years in school administration, shaping and enhancing educational experiences for students and educators alike. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Southwestern Adventist University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Nevada.

Fundamentally, Rosy is a visionary leader, deeply committed to fostering excellence in teaching and learning. She has a proven track record of cultivating positive school cultures, implementing educational standards, and developing strategies to support our educators and institutions.

Throughout her journey, Rosy has actively contributed to curriculum development committees and has played a pivotal role in piloting new educational programs and systems. Her dedication to educational excellence extends beyond the classroom, as she has served on various accreditation committees within the North American Division.

Rosy’s connection to Adventist education runs deep, as she hails from a ministerial family. Alongside her husband, Rick, who is also an educator, Rosy is proud to be a part of our educational community. Together, they are devoted parents to Lily, who shares their passion for education and serves within the Texas Conference.

In her spare time, Rosy enjoys immersing herself in reading, traveling, creative arts, and the art of organization—a true testament to her multifaceted interests and talents.

As Rosy steps into her new role, we eagerly anticipate the positive impact she will have on our educational community. Please join us in welcoming Rosy and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers as she embarks on this new chapter with us.
